Capital Music Network Privacy Policy

The Short Version

Privacy matters a lot to us. We made this product for ourselves and our community, and we use it regularly, so we know how important it is that our personal information isn't shared. We feel confident that your data is safe in our hands, and it's our goal to be very transparent about exactly what that means.

Standard Security Practices

Traffic to this site is encrypted (HTTPS), passwords are hashed, and we never see your credit card info. Payments are handled entirely by Stripe, which only tells us when the payment completes. A breach of our database wouldn't expose your password or card details.

No Third Parties

We will never share or sell any information about our subscribers with any third parties.

Information about artists is only shared for promotional purposes, as described in the artist agreement that you sign when you register as an artist.

Account Deletion

The right to be forgotten is a big deal to us. If you want us to delete your data, just let us know at support@capitalmusicnetwork.com! We will only retain the data that is required to calculate and audit our artist payout process.

Cookies

Aren't those "accept cookies" banners on every website annoying? They are legally required by the EU's ePrivacy Directive for non-essential cookies (the kind used for analytics, advertising, or tracking you across sites). Cookies that are strictly necessary to provide something you actually asked for, like staying logged in, are explicitly exempt. We only use the exempt kind, so you won't see one of those banners here.
